Aromatic Polysulfone - PSU

Polysulfones – PSU are amorphous polymers.

 

   

They have good mechanical properties (rigidity and resistance), excellent thermal resistance, low mould shrinkage, good X, b and gama rays resistance, good electrical insulation and are self-extinguishing.

 

However, they have low UV rays resistance (therefore low weather resistance), poor chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons resistance, and are very expansive.
