Polyphenylene Ether - PPE

Polyphenylene ether – PPE  is an amorphous polymer.

 

It offers an excellent creep resistance even under heat, and high bending modulus, high impact strength even at -40° Celsius, excellent cold or hot hydrolysis resistance, good electrical properties and dimensional stability, low water absorption.

 

Its high friction factor can affect its mechanical use, and it is sensitive to halogenated and aromatic hydrocarbons (super fuels).
